About E.A.S.C.

We offer at least one Hunter Safety FIELD DAY Course each year. We provide the students the opportunity for “LIVE FIRE” (to fire a shotgun, a cross-bow, and 22-rifle) in addition to other field training.

We partnered with another non-profit downstate called American Sportsmen for Veterans. We built a blind on the property expressly for disabled vets to use. It does not interfere with members using the ranges. Hunters are required to sign up and hunting times are coordinated.

We offer FREE, 1 year memberships, to Active 1st Responders and Active Military Duty Personnel living in the Arenac, Ogemaw, and Iosco counties. See membership page for details.

We are looking into having a certified instructor holding CPL classes as well as self defense classes for women (or men). More to follow.

All members received updated Bylaws, Range Rules, and Club Rules with their 2023 membership renewal. New members automatically receive the same package. If you have not read them, we encourage you to do so. Changes have been made to improve or enhance club operations and/or safety for our members. As updates are made, members will receive them with their annual renewal.
